The Founders

We are Paul and Maurice, long time school friends and since we were in school we've always wanted to have our own Business. As we saw that the majority of all shoes produced globally come from asian Massproductions, of which most are thrown away after short amount of time. As this behaviour is not sustainable at all, we decided to make it our mission to produce high quality, made to order shoes. We produce in Europe, as we know that treatment of workers has a high standard and ecological responsibility is much more looked after. Also the goods are tested on remaining chemicals which could cause allergic reactions or even cancer.

Our big question at that point was, how do we even start?!

First thing we did, was to contact roughly 30 manufacturers in southern Europe and first talked with a producer in Portugal. This however did not lead to a business relationship as the delivery conditions were not at all in our favour. After numorous more interactions with several shoe producers we ended up speaking to two Italian companies from the Napoli region. With both those companies not only convinced us with high quality shoes, but also excelled with excellent communication. After long discussion between the two of us, and also consultation of family and friends we decided to go with one of the two wich had already shown exceptional experience in the crafting of the types of shoes we would like to bring to our customers.
